throughout 2009 and to be exposed through the marketing of the
network to Bayside’s 3000 businesses.
The Bayside Business Network is a platform to showcase
excellence in business, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Bayside City Council launched the Bayside Business Network in
2004 to recognize and embrace marketing and promotion through
networking. We have brilliant businesses across Bayside,
including; investors, managers and professionals. The
Network is facilitating some exceptional business savvy networking,
of which you can be part of.
The graph below articulates the makeup of the Networks target
audience and your potential reach.
The Bayside Business Network provides a well-constructed,
purposeful program of events. We ensure they are administered
efficiently, creating attention and discussion on a range of
business issues. The goal of the Network is to draw attention
to the outstanding examples of business education, research and
innovation across Bayside.
The Network is promoted to more 2000 men and women in business,
as well as the wider business community. The program will
expand in 2009 with an emphasis on value for money, in a climate of
changing economic conditions.

The Bayside Business Network offers an exceptional marketing
calendar campaign, from events and seminars to supported rapid
response advertising and building customer relationships /
marketing through the web.
Event and marketing details

Business Breakfast Series - 3 events per calendar
year
The Breakfast Business Series attracts a broad spectrum of
businesses with an average of up to 400 attendees.
Women’s Network Luncheons – 3 events per calendar
year
120 professionals from a diverse demographic attend these
functions with registrations growing.
Bayside Business Seminar Series –16 plus events per
calendar year
40 -60 professionals attend per seminar gaining an insight into
the latest in business thinking.
Networking Events – 9 plus events per calendar year
40 to 50 like-minded local business people connect with each
other and learn about their local business community.
Sponsors are welcome to forward proposals to host a network
event and make it industry specific. In 2008 several of these
were conducted and were very successful.
Website – 22,000 hits per month
Your sponsorship will allow you to cross promote – directing
users back to your site via the click of a button from the Bayside
Business Network website.
Email blasts – 100’s of direct emails to members per
calendar year
Sponsor banner is pasted direct to all members over a 100 per
year through our communications campaign with your company’s
recognition.
Local newspaper advertising –minimum 20 advertisements
per year
Communications campaign including local newspaper advertising
with readership of 75,000 See attachment one (1) – Example ½ page
advertisement in local, community newspaper.
